A controversial drama about a middle-aged man's relationship with a boy. Architect Markus secretly lives out his gay tendencies while his wife Christine and their 11-year-old daughter Elisabeth are ignored. When Markus meets the 12-year-old son of a colleague, he feels an immediate affection for the boy. Slowly, he begins to approach the boy and create an intimacy. All the while the boy is playing his own secret game which, in the end, leads to disaster for all.
