On July 2nd in 2009, the Delhi High Court passed a landmark judgment repealing Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, a law first imposed in 1860 which criminalized any sexual acts between consenting adults of the same sex as “against the order of nature." Out In Mumbai documents the diverse lives of three members of Mumbai's LGBT community, Beena, Pallav and Abheena, as they travel through the city heading to the celebrations for the historic verdict's first anniversary.
