Ballroom culture has made a resurgence into mainstream not seen since Madonna’s 1991 “Vogue." Two artists behind this, Purple Crush, the music producers for the HBO max show “Legendary” and Icon Kevin JZ, who is sampled on Beyonce’s single “Pure/Honey,” release "Going to the Ball." The visual has Kevin and Legendary Isla Ebony (half of Purple Crush) getting ready to go to Banjee Ball. For authenticity, the entire video is shot on VHS and Super 8 film, giving the feel of vintage Ball clips.
