JK Rowling says she will not forgive 'Harry Potter' actors who have spoken out against her controversial comments about the transgender community.
Both Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson publicly asserted their support for the trans community, in opposition to Rowling's comments.
When a fan said the stars owe Rowling an apology, the author said that they could "save their apologies."
"Celebs who cozied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatized detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single-sex spaces," said Rowling in a post on X.
This news comes after reports that Rowling may be investigated for 'hate speech' for misgendering transgender individuals.
The author has been very outspoken about hate speech laws in the UK, saying she would rather be imprisoned than abide by such rules.
