Former NFL player Jason Kelce has expressed remorse for smashing a heckler's phone after he made a homophobic remark about his brother Travis for dating Taylor Swift. Kelce addressed the incident during ESPN’s pre-game show, and said he was “not proud” of slamming the Pennsylvania State University student’s phone to the ground. “Listen, I’m not happy with anything that took place. I’m not proud of it…In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don’t think that that’s a productive thing. I really don’t. I don’t think that it leads to discourse and is the right way to go about things,” said Kelce. In the viral video footage of the incident, a Penn State student yells to Jason “Hey, Kelce! How does it feel your brother’s a f****** dating Taylor Swift?” NFL star-turned-commentator was at Penn State’s University Park campus for “College GameDay” on ESPN.
