Marlon Wayans has fired back at Soulja Boy after the rapper made homophobic and transphobic remarks about the comedian and his transgender son, Kai. The heated social media feud erupted on X, formerly Twitter, where Soulja Boy’s offensive posts were later removed. Wayans responded by mocking the rapper’s career, writing, "You know you can get cancelled for transphobic slander like this… Fortunately for you that you don't have a career". The dispute seemingly stems from Wayans’ January radio interview, where he dismissed Soulja Boy’s relevance in the music industry. Soulja Boy, whose last Billboard chart appearance was in 2010, recently dropped an album, The Influence, but remains largely absent from mainstream success. Despite telling paparazzi that he and Soulja Boy were "cool," Wayans continued ridiculing the rapper’s looks and career.
