The Make Me Feel singer made a politically charged speech when she took to the stage at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles during a dinner for the LGBTQ+ advocacy group on Saturday. Accepting the organisation's Equality Award, Janelle said, "Bullies only win when we let them think they can. Here's the truth, bullying doesn't stop when we grow up. It doesn't end when we leave school. It just gets bigger. It rebrands itself. The bully gets elected president." According to Variety, the Glass Onion actress stopped short of saying Trump's name but it was clear who she was referring to.
